What inspired us
In August, the Fair Work Ombudsman advised that it had recovered more than $500M in unpaid wages and entitlements in 2021-2022.
As a result, employers across all industries are at risk of adverse publicity for their payroll mistakes, as well as investigation and potentially prosecution by the FWO.
The FWO’s widely publicised “strengthened compliance and enforcement approach” suggests that these recovery figures will only continue to increase.
